your opinion on the dc tone

I've tested the DC Tone 2011 yesterday, indoors, so no steeps and powder. I'm trying to find a board for all mnt/freestyle.

I fell totaly in love with this board. Jumps and tricks good, but what amased me most were the wonderfull turnability and edgehold of this no-mtx rocker. Small turns, big turns, slow, fast, icy, edge to edge. No problem. Beautifull carving.

When it comes to turning it easily beats the machete and custom I also tried yesterday.

Back home I checked what others thought of this board. It's in the 2011 goodwood list, but they don't give you any details. Thegoodride.com says edge hold and carving are weak. Am I missing something here???

So now I start doubting because I haven’t been able to try it on steeps and pow.

My questions:
Does anyone know thegoodride.com? Are they trustworthy?
Does anyone have experience with this board in powder and on steeps or otherwise?

Thanks…

I've ridden the rockered version of it. Fun deck. Don't believe everything you read from one source or another.

I'm not a fan of DC products or DC as a company. That said, they seem to have made some advancements with their snow gear, and are now on year 3 I think of board production. I am a bit surprised I don't hear more people talking about them on here, considering DC's popularity with the younger crowd when it comes to skate/moto gear and even snowboard boots.

@burton
I don't believe there is another version than the rockered one.

@triple
Any particular reason why you don't like the company?
