Reg camber MTX to C2 BTX?

So last year i rode a Roxy reg camber MTX and loved it however had some top sheet delamination problems and so Mervin's warranty replaced it with this seasons Envi C2 BTX (pretty certain its the same model at the T.Rice Lib for chicks...) Anyway... Staring at my new board and wondering how it rides is killing me.

Is there anyone out there that can tell me if I should expect to have to relearn how to ride this board? I hear a lot of talk about making the switch to the banana and how the board seems to slip out from under you until you get use to it. How significant will the camber/rocker/camber change my riding?

I ride a Gnu with BTX. The ride felt a little "loose" during the first few run, but I don't notice it at all anymore. The only time I feel unstable at all is when I get off a chair lift and even then I just need to remember to adjust my weight correctly.

Anyway, I'm sure someone with experience will chime in here, but I've heard that C2BTX is an excellent improvement to banana tech.

Its not like relearning snowboarding with it lol..it may take you a few runs but you should get down the mountain fine if you can on regular camber..its really not that different...maybe a bit more floaty feeling...

What will surprise you probably(it did me) is when you get in those moments where your like "oh shit, edge catch soon"...and it doesnt happen lol...ive had a few of those sliding sideways because someone cuts me off or i have to make a quick turn ...

awesome! Yeah I know I'll pick it right up no prob. But I hate having to stare at a new board this whole time without being able to know what it feels like to ride. ^^^ Yeah I had similair moments like that on my MTX having to make a quick turn or stop and thought "Oh shit, I'm prolly gunna slide right out.." and didn't. Can't wait to ride C2.
