Default Snowboard buying time!

Hello guys!

It is time to buy new snowboard.. I am little rusty with all new specs so i will need your help!

Little about me.. I am intermediate driver ( mostly on slopes and pow).. I am new in park.. I would like to brush my park skills so i need a board that can handle park and slope well.. I like to go fast, i like to jib boxes, i like to do ground presses, i like kickers (not big ones)

So my board should be soft but not to much soft, twin tip, i would like to try rocker... Ground presses comes before speed.. I can sacrifice some speed..

I thought about buying Flow ERA, ELAN PRODIGY.. What do you think? Thank you in advance!

Oh yes.. Bindings will be probably 390 Bosses or Union Forces!

What's your weight and boot size? Also provide height.

If you fit this board, the Ride Machete sounds like your perfect stick.

Okay, your boot size is good. For your weight though, the 158 or 160 is better. Go with the 158 since you are doing park jibs.

The reason I recommend this board is because of the flex and ability inside and outside the park. It is your jack of all trades board with a more park focused design. This is great because that is exactly what you want your board to be.

Medium flex, more freestyle orientated than all-mountain, and good amount of pop. It is also a lowrize rocker which is mellow and playful.

It actually handles speed pretty well. You will lose some stability on icey double black runs, but even then you can compensate for that easily (2011 model). Edge to edge control on the Machete is also sick!
