Jones Hovercraft only comes in 156 ?!?

So I've been shopping around for a dedicated pow board for this season. I have a Bataleon Undisputed 163 at the moment, but was thinking of possibly getting something a tad shorter.

Had my heart set on the Jones Hovercraft, even after realizing it's only offered in 1 size...156. Now I'm definitely having my doubts since I ride a 155-157 for park and 158-160 all mountain. I know there are other factors involved like effective edge, sidecut radius, etc... hence the range. Just not sure if I buy into the idea of rocking a shorter board of any type just b/c it's rocker.

Jones' marketing says, "packing the volume of a 178cm powder board into a nimble 156cm." Wait, what? I get that it's directional with rocker and Burton Fish-like design with the notched tail & super setback. But...really? Even the Fish comes in a 156/160/164.

It's not just the rockered nose that allows for the shorter length, it's the set back too. Jones will probably offer more lengths next year if the board sells well. Also, if I stand my 160 Fish next to my 158 Uninc or Hero, the Fish is shorter than both of them. I guess this could be because of how they're pressed, but I've heard from a few good sources that the Fish isn't as long as the listed size (i.e. Vanity Sizing"). Anyway, I'd be interested to see how the 156 Hovercraft compares to a 156 Fish when they're standing next to each other.

I'd def like to see them side-by-side too. I only got to handle the hovercraft briefly at the Deeper premier. Local shops don't have it in stock yet.
