Capita Stairmaster or Ride Kink?

I need help finding a straight up jib board. I like really soft boards when it comes to rails...and short. I'm either looking at the Capita Stairmaster 148 or the Ride Kink 147. I really like Ride boards. In fact I have a Ride Society as my all around board. The only bad thing I have noticed is that they are kind of heavy. I noticed that Capita seems to have boards that are jib friendly but how is the stairmasters flex. I like the Ride Kink because its got the flex I want....real soft and buttery for rails. But the stairmaster seems nice too. Does it have a nice flex and is it lightweight? These are the two characteristics im looking at. Please advise...thanks

The Capita will have a stiffer flex and would be the better choice if you're more of an all-park rider.

i have a ride 154 thats kind of my all around gig...mountain, pipe, jumps....i was just going to buy a 148 capita for the rails....is that straight for jumps? i'd be sketched out trying to stomp on something that small don't you think? and i don't want to get a 152 bc thats the next size they have..it would defeat the whole purpose of having two boards..... thats why i wanted a small board just for rails....apart from that are capita boards light? especially the stairmaster

Weight of a board shouldn't matter unless you have no strength in your legs. The Capita will work just fine for rails as well.

I weigh about 145-150 and I'm 5'10.

For the past two years I've ridden a 146 Ride Kink. The thing is amazing. I loved that board. Here's the deal though. At that length it was PURELY a jib board. Bombing down smaller blacks was possible, but very stupid, and very rough. Jumps were also possible, but they needed to be small, or else washing out would happen.

There's a little info to maybe help you a little. Let me know if you want more info.

hmm becuase i most definitly wants to hit decent sized kicks as well as jib ... This is my dilemma bro, Im thinking of either stairmaster 148 or 152 Or a forum youngloob 148 or a 152. I rode of a 152 kink last season.. maybe its best to stick with the same size ?

Well did you feel comfortable on the 152?

If you want to hit some decent sized kickers, I'd suggest you look into more of a park oriented board
