Hi, I want to buy an SL as an all around board for this year, and am unsure if I should get a 155 or a 158. I'll be mostly on the mountain with it, but don't need to charge down at breakneck speeds (that often, it does happen) I want to be able to spend a lot of the time in the park also, so was thinking I should get something a bit on the small side, but I don't want to compromise my stability at high speeds or the rare chance I get to ride in powder (East Coast here) My weight falls at the very back end of the 155s recommended, I'm just worried I'll go too small. I weigh 165 - 170, variable. My boots are a size 10, I think that's ok for either size. Thanks!
hey man im the same exact size as you and i got this year's SL in 155. i guess it really depends on how much park vs all mtn youre going to be doing. obviously the 158 will give you a bit more stability whereas the 155 will be a bit easier to maneuver, so it depends on what you want to focus on. i took my 155 for a run this week at killington, and it was perfect. im sure the 158 would be fun too, you wont go wrong with either.
Thanks a lot guys, gonna order the 155 when I get home. I think it's gonna be awesome!
