Hey there everyone!
I am just beginning snowboarding. I have been surfing for some time, so I know I'll pick snowboarding up fast. I am hoping to get all my gear in the next week or so. After alot of research, I think I have settled on the Rossignol Diva MAGTEK. What do you all think of this board? I am 5'4 and 135 pounds with a 7 1/2 shoe size if that matters. Also, I'm wondering what boots and bindings to get. Any ideas? Are goggles nessesary or can I just use my Smiths with a strap? I'm so FRIGGEN stoked to get out there and shred, I can't hardly stand it! Thanks all for the help!

I think the Diva has won a Good Wood or two. It's definitely a quality deck, perhaps slightly on the stiffer side for a new rider though.
Have you been snowboarding yet? You may want to try it out a few times before you settle on a deck, since the deck you get will depend on the sort of riding you end up doing... For boots: try a bunch on and buy the ones that fit the best Bindings: K2 Virtue or Auto Agogo, Rome Madison, Union Milan or Trilogy |

Thanks. I do have a tendency to go balls out and head first with things. So thanks for the advice to try it first. I'm going to go this weekend and check some boards and stuff out. The thing is though, that where I'll mainly be going is hurricane ridge and they don't rent boards just skis. So we'll see what happens. Thanks again!
