I've seen different websites that say its a TNT base and others that say its a Sintered UHMW. evo.com says sintered and tatics.com says TNT. I was all set to get the TRS but haven't heard one good thing about the extruded TNT bases. It still baffles me that Lib Tech puts shitty extruded bases on their $500+ boards.

i called lib and the guy said it has a tnt exruded base. according to shay's review on shayboarder, she says its a sintered as well. i dont know what to believe anymore, but i am leaning towards tnt because thast what the guy at lib said, and i would guess he would knwo best. but honestly who knows! he honestly didnt sound that sure of himself either.

Cause they need to make their cash somewhere for their "consumer web blasts" And ads in the mags?
It is funny some of their all mountain boards have tnt bases. Less money they spend, the more they make! Another reason to love lib-tech!

Pulled this from their website:
SINTERED CARBON 9991 BASE: Super tough base material that holds wax well due to its compression formed amorphous polymer structure. Super fast when waxed with Oneballjay. -Cygnus X1 SINTERED UHMW BASE: Carbon sounds tech, doesn’t it? Fast base material for tech-tuning freaks. Wax required. Oneballjay recommended. -Dark Series, Banana Magic, Travis Rice C2-BTX, Travis Rice MTX, Banana Hammock, Skate Banana, Box Scratchers TNT BASE MATERIAL: Fast and low maintenance dual layered fluoro base material. Wax it or maybe skip a day. Use Oneballjay snowboard wax. -Phoenix Series, Lando, TRS, Mullet, MC Kink, Skunk Apes.
