so im looking into snowboard, coming from a skateboard and wakeboard background, im going to be doing about 50/50 on park and jumps, not much free riding, and im curious to what board i should get, i need something flexible enough for rails but stiff enough for booters

im looking into the dc pbj, it seems like an all around good board for my application, not to hard on the wallet either

i have also considered, the evil twin, k2 parkstar, and a few others, but my main instrest is the pbj

also another question i am around 140-150, 5'8, 10 boot, would the 149 be to small for booters, and would the 153 be to big for rails, what should i pick from those sizes knowing my weight, hieght, and boot

thanks

149 would prob be too small for jumps, but depends on size of jumps. I would go with a 153 or so for what you seem to want. also consider capita green machine fk, ultrafear fk. nitro T1, and of course, the forum fav, the never summer EVO. (that is a small portion of a large list of boards to consider.

I'm around your stats, 6'0 140-150, 10.5 DC Boot (they run a little small, so im really a size 10 in most other boots)and i mostly ride a 152 Nitro Subzero for park, works perfect for me, and is just fine on jumps less than 40ft.

I tried a 148 capita stairmaster for a while, and found it to be too small for my liking. hopefully this helps.

You would think that board companies would start using universal mechanical properties to indicate the stiffness of each board so that they can be easily compared to boards from other companies. This would be much more effective than grabbing the board at one end and holding it vertically then pressing your foot into the middle of the board.
