I've been snowboarding for two years. I've been doing some research on snowboards and am looking to make my first purchase. I've come to the conclusion that a free-riding or all-mountain type of board is right for me, as I'm not really sure what my style is yet and just want something that can do a little bit of everything. I'd like to spend somewhere between 240-320$ on a snowboard so I've been looking at 2010 models. I'm 5'4" and way around 135 lbs. Also my boot size is around a 10.5 US so I've been looking at some of the wider models. I think this board is the correct size. I'm having a hard time distinguishing freeriding and allmountain boards from the freestyle type boards that I definitely want to stay away from. Do you guys think this would be a good one for me?

This one actually looks really good for me too, but I'm afraid it may not be wide enough for a 10.5 boot?
Can't wait to hear your guys' opinions on these Lowest Price on K2 Select Snowboard 153 edit: here's a wider version of this one, I think it may be TOO wide though http://www.proboardshop.com/9854k2sw...nowboards.html |
