I have a 2010 Custom V-Rocker Ltd for park/pipe/shitty days.
Now I'm looking for a board to handle the freeride and deep pow days. I also enjoy natural terrain features so landing/riding switch is required from time to time. I'm an expert/advanced rider who is just having a hard time deciding. My home mountain is Kirkwood for reference. Ok here is the short list. It is open for suggestions. All of these boards would be sized between 156cm to 162cm Alphabetical Order: Burton Malolo Jones Flagship K2 Gyrator Lib Tech Travis Rice (w/ horsepower? or no?) NeverSummer Raptor Rome Anthem SS ???? Thanks everyone!

Custom Flying V Squeezebox, Sherlock, Raptor, Coda, BSOD. That's what I'd be looking at.

My vote is for the T.Rice in 161.5 or the k2 Gyrator in 162. The gyrator has a more powder oriented camber going on. It would be great in pow and average on the groomers. The T.rice would have a better balance. kills it in both powder and hard carving groomers.
I have the t.rice non HP 161.5 NS Raptor would also be sick. Last edited by Quattro; 12-13-2010 at 03:19 PM. |

I am going to attempt to ride the Raptor this weekend. I've always wanted a NS. Lib Tech is a great company and I'd really like to give them a shot but I just need to find a demo to ride. Its good to get some feedback from everyone! I think the list is looking like: (alpha) K2 Gyrator Lib Tech T.Rice NS Raptor
