I'm thinking about getting a 2011 Burton Custom 156 (camber version). I'm 5'9" and 130 lbs and am an intermediate rider. I mostly freeride with little to no park. Do you think this will be a good fit? Or just any opinions in general?

That should be good. You're on the lower end of the weight spectrum for that size but if you enjoy free riding, a longer board will give you nice stable turns. I'd say go with it. I'm 5'9 173lbs and I went with a 158 custom x. I could of went up to a 160 but we're talking 2 cm here. That's less than an inch of added length. You won't notice any issues.

And about how forgiving is this board? Because I was planning on getting Custom X but because I've heard that it's super stiff and unforgiving I'm not anymore, as I don't think I'm good enough of a rider. Anyone know? Or have opinions?
