surfinwind Junior Member Join Date: Dec 2010 Posts: 16	Gear for the newb here - please recommend size/brand/model Hey everyone, I started snowboarding not too long ago and looking for my own gear now, as a beginner. I'm about 177 pb weight, size 10/11 shoes ... so my choice of board so far is Flow Merc 163 wide. Is this the right board/size for me? or is getting something smaller would be more fun to ride? What binding/boots would you recommend? Wanna get something of my own soon and go riding to local places wilmot/alpine valley in WI. Thanks so much : ) Mike
