I used my kt-22 for the first time today. It made a great difference on my riding ability. I could easily carve my way downthe mountain. I was the fastest in my group today, usually I am number 2 or 3 or the 7 of us. I had great control all day and only got caught by one deep powder area that sucked me in for a wipe out..... I also caught an edge one time after endless runs when fatigue set in. went for about a 40 yard slide and had a small yard sale....
This board overall is incredible and it sold me on the reverse camber tech, clash camber from smokin... I plan to get my wife a reverse camber board now too. probably pick something up tomorrow... |

Glad you're loving it. I'd love to happen upon a Smokin' demo day. I've taken a look at several of their boards and have always been impressed with the build quality. They look every bit as well built as a NS. If I could demo one, I'd intentionally smash the shit out of a rock just to see how well it held up. I already know my NS boards would laugh as they bitch slapped that rock.

I still ride a 4 year old KT-22 from back when they were cambered. That board is a tank. I think I removed enough wood from trees in the glades yesterday to build a whole new snowboard with but my KT-22 is still in almost as good of shape as the day I got it. Absolute killer board. I also just saw next years KT-22 and the new graphics are killer. I am pretty sure that I will have one of those for next season.

The first thing I noticed was the fact it is so freaking light. The Magna traction really holds the edge well and bites when you want it to. The combo of MT and clash camber really helped my shred ability. Probably uped my comfort for speed by 20% because I feel so much more stable while turning. I'm able to fully ride switch now since I'm so comfortable with my edge. I was riding blues and blacks all day with 8" of powder on the groomed runs and thigh deep powder on the back trails hiding plenty of jumps and ruts That I ate up with ease.
