2011 BSOD vs. Yes. Optimistic

Hey everyone, I've basically narrowed it down to these two similarly designed boards and going to grab one of these in a 162. Leaning towards the BSOD but am also feeling the Optimistic. Was looking for any input from anyone that has ridden either one or both. Thanks for the input.

I haven't ridden either, but for what it's worth, my past research would steer me towards the BSOD.

16 Gnu Swallow Tail Carver . 16 NS West . 15 NS Snowtrooper BIA
16 Burton Genesis X . 15 Now Drive
16 Flow Talon . 14 Flow Hylite

I demo'd the BSOD and found it to be a lot of fun. If I were buying a new board this year it would be on my short list. I can't comment on the Yes board.

I haven't ridden it myself but my local board shop guy has both last year's BSOD and this year's BSOD. He loves last year's model but says this year's model is even better - it has an improved shape that makes riding powder more fun - it's still traditional camber between the bindings for power, control and good feedback and newly added early rise nose and tail to make it easier to ride powder. He's also trying to get next year's BSOD asap (he's just a greedy bastard).
