Now what's left is to get a freeride stick

I wanted to replace my old board (stiff, but too short freeride board) and since I just couldn't find the perfect solution for freestyle and freeride, I decided to go for the 2 board way.

I already got myself a Ride Kink for the park, now I have to think about what board to get for the rest of the mountain. I like to go quite fast downhill but through powder as well and I also like to take every jump that's in my way (jumps would be the one thing in freestyle that will preferably be done with that board and not the Kink)

I'm leaning heavily towards another Ride board, the DH2. It is said to be stable at higher speeds but since it has a little rocker, also good for powder and forgiving landings ...

What do you guys think of this? (I already ordered one yesterday, together with delta mvmts cause I'm kind of in a hurry, but if you think that's a stupid idea for some reason, I'd cancel and go for something else)

Thank you in advance for your help

honestly if you want a freeride board the dh2 isn;t the best. The board is more of a freestyle. Freeriding is definitely doable though but not the best for it. Since you already have a park board I say get a more of freeride oriented board. Like......CAPITA BLACK SNOWBOARD OF DEATH. Man, i want that board so bad.

The DH2 is really a freestyle board. If you want something that's more freeride than the highlife might be a better choice. If you're more in it for the jumps the DH2 might work.
There's also someone selling/trading a Neversummer Heritage. That might not be a bad idea either if it's the right size.

In fact freeride board might not be the best term to describe with what I want. Maybe all-mountain-freestyle is more exact. It will be used 50% for riding with ski-buddys and in powder, but the other 50% is for jumps (backcountry and park) just not rails, jibs and stuff like that.

you can do jumps with a bsod. in fact, youll probably get more pop than with a true twin.

the dh2 will be good then. i use it exactly the same way you described and it works great.

edit:actually not exactly. i jib with it.
