Premier F1 161 (25.6 waist) with 11.5 salomon f20s - Snowboarding Forum

Hey, i am hoping to get a few opinions on the potential overhang of this setup.

I am looking to buy some gear for my brother, he is just under 6'2" so will ride with a reasonably wide stance. I don't really want to go too borderline on the overhang. With the small profile of the f20s would this be a perfectly viable setup, or cutting it a little bit fine? The board will be used as a powder board and for pretty much any and all freeride conditions.

If anyone has run a similar setup i would appreciate any feedback.

He will be fine. My friend has the same size F20s and had no trouble riding my 154 Lib Tech TRS. In fact he fit into my Contraband bindings that were set up for my 10.5 Ride Anthem boots.

i rock premier f1r 165 and salomon malamutes 12,5 and it is ok...i would say- about the max you can go
