I'm a 15 year old girl, 125lbs, at 5'3". I mostly go to resorts, and go down hill but I want to start going to the terrain park. I've been snowboarding for 4 years and I don't really have a budget. I was looking at either the Never Summer Pandora Rocker 2010 or Nitro Lectra Clean?!?! I hate girly graphics, but I am open to suggestions...

I just purchased the 2011 Pandora and I love it! It is soft, but not so soft that it loses stability. It is a nice damp ride. Haven't taken it into the park, so I can't speak about how it performs there. It's a hot board for a great price.
My previous boards were a Capita Space Metal Fantasy (softest board I've tried, fun all-mountain riding) and a Gnu B-street (loved the magnetraction, also a very soft board). Have you considered the Roxy Ollie Pop or the Roxy Eminence C2BTX? I've also heard good things about the Arbor Cadence. I guess it depends on what you want. Do you need a board primarily for park? Park and all-mountain riding? Will you be riding a lot of powder or ice? |

If you ride on ice, get something that has really good edge control. I love magnetraction from Mervin lines: Roxy, Gnu, Rossignol. Never Summer has a similar technology called Vario Grip.
So yeah, the Eminence or the Pandora! |
