Im a big dude. 250 lbs. 6 foot. size 12 boot.
im wanting a park board. now saying that, the place i go to has a shitty park... Im wanting something that I can butter fairly easily. hit a few rails and the such, and still get down the mountain without getting too chattery I was looking at the Sierra Stunt -159w, they say this is quite the flexible board (i think a 3 rating) Would this board be too soft for my big ass or would I be alright? |

a 159 that soft should be ok. Im 250 also and i ride a 157 with a stiffness rating of about 5. I can butter ok with it. Not great, but just ok. I really like it with jumps. It really poppy. Yours will probably be less poppy and more flexible for butters and jibs

Ride Machete or DH2 either one comes in wide, the machete is a bit softer than the DH2 and has a bit more rocker. I'm around 210 lbs with 11.5 boots and ride a 159W, this is kind of my do it all stick. It's super poppy and quite stable at speed, the rocker also offers some good float in the pow even with a centered stance. The flex rating according to ride is a 7 while the Machete is a 5, they are both really similar boards with the Machete being on the softer side with a bit less pop and more rocker.
