Default 2011 Jamie Lynn Setback Issue

Just got a 2011 Jamie Lynn and while I was setting it up I noticed that the nose looked much longer than the tail. The specs on Lib's website says 0.5" setback, but using the mirrored pair of holes to mount my bindings it came out to be more like 1.5". I removed the bindings to see if I messed up and just miscounted but I didn't. Without bindings mounted I pulled tape from the nose to the first pair of inserts and did the same on the tail. Sure enough it came out to be an 1.5" difference. I could be wrong but to me that says 1.5" setback, not 0.5".

Anyone else have this issue with the Jamie Lynn? Is is a manufacturing error or did Lib list the setback incorrectly?

Also, I poked around on Lib's "contact us" page and couldn't find any email address. Does anyone have a contact they can give me? I like to get in touch with them and see what they say.

Set back is calculated from the effective edge. Some directional boards will have a "tighter" curve on the tail, so that the distance from the effective edge to the tail tip will be shorter than effective edge to nose tip.

That should explain your situation.
