Default Avalanche Snowboards

Hey guys, Ive been snowboarding for 1 year and my burton se7en is getting pretty beat up. I have a chance to get an Avalanche elk special x board for about 80$. Has anyone tried any of these boards or have any information about them?
Thanks

For $80 I can't see how you would go wrong?

I had an Avalanche Kick 165 back in 1992 when Damian Sanders was riding for them. I don't think anything I can tell you about that board will help in your decision now though...hell I don't even know if it is the same company now.

Ha. I'm still rockin Avalanche gloves. They were decent boards back in the day. You could have less fun for $80 and the old school factor is worth it.

Never Summer has a really good handle on their supply and demand. The SL & Legacy are usually sold out half way thru the season. I know a few shops near me sell out before the season even starts.
