Thumbs up Never Summer 2011 heritage 155 or 158 need help deciding please??

Hi There

I am trying to decide between a NS Heritgae 155 or 158 - my last board was a forum devun walsh 157 i ve been riding for several years.

i'm 5'7 150lbs size 8.5 boot
I ride all mountain and love tree runs dont really do park and also like to hoon at max chat on groomers so stability is a factor? I also live in eastern canada so ice is a factor???

I e mailed NS and they advised a 155 but i would like advice from actual riders - one other thing the 155 will cost about 200 dollars more due to lack of availability in canada!!

all comments greatly appreciated and the sooner the better as i m hovering above the buy button as we speak

Cheers

$200 more?!?!?!?!?! Cripes.

I can't advise you specifically what to get, but I can tell you that I'm 5'10" and 190lbs and I'm on a 160 Heritage. It's got better response than the 157's I used to own. If price wasn't an issue, I'd say the 155 for your size and weight, but $200???? If you're an accomplished boarder, I doubt the 1" will make much difference. Were you comfortable with the size of your old board? A Heritage "feels" a little shorter than it is.

Error 404. Coffee not found.

How did you like riding the 157? I'm 5'10, 165lbs and my 158 Heritage doesn't feel big to me. My other board is a 156. The 155 might give you more versatility, but it seems like you're gonna be using this board for mostly freeriding/bombing anyway, so you should be good with the 158.

anks guys

thyea never had a problem with the 157 only really thinking about it as seems the rc board means you can go shorter which would give more manuvability not sure how much more manoeuvrable the 155 would be its obviously slightly thinner etc so edge to edge i m guessing would be slightly effected also transitioning to switch and back etc??

Will say I have ridden the 155 Heritage and the 158 both. Totally prefer the 155 sizing myself. I am 5'9" on a lucky day and about 160 with a size 9 boot. It all comes down to personal preference but I would suggest the 155.

I would take NS opinion pretty heavily in you mind since they are riders too!!

The season is almost upon us!!!!
