Something to keep in mind when choosing your next board is your height and weight. Even though a board is rated for example a 5/10 on the manufacturers flex rating, someone who is say 170lbs vs 140lbs, will be able to flex the board and find it "softer" than the 140lb person. Also, just cause the board is a "rocker" or "reverse camber" (which there are many types/combinations and you can look those up) doesnt nececarily mean it will be flexy. Your weight, riding style, stance width, etc. will be better determinants of "flex" in the board. For example my park/jib setup 2011 Gnu Park Pickle 150cm, Ride contraband bindings, 23" wide stance, im 5"8, 185lbs, and i can flex and butter the hell out of this board, definitely on the "shorter than recommended" for my size but thats what i wanted/like for my style of riding. If you can make it out to and Demo days at your local hill/mountain check out different rocker setups in shorter/longer sizes to find whats "right" for you.
