Question santa cruz boards

i rem around like 2000 ish they where some awesome bitching boards.. i still have my 2000 x type 152 ssc and break it out once 2x a year lol. but what ever happened to them? seriously they used to make some nice clean sharp graphics, lightweight, solid build materials, and with the step cap they had they rode like skates in the firm and icy conditions.. last time i actually saw someone with one was last year and the design looked like crap. does anyone here even ride a SC board and if there are a few lone wolves that actually have one; hows the quality now..??>>?

They sucked balls...I got a SC Seth Huot and delam'd it in one day. It was so bad that it bent the edge. I tried to warranty it and they sent it back glued back together. Next day riding it the glue came apart. After that the company went to shit.
