Hey Guys, first post here. So much great knowledge here but I have a question. I'm 5'6" and 140 lbs and ride about 95% freeride on the Eastcoast (PA/NY/VT). I've come across a good deal on a 157 TRS MTX and was just curious if you guys think it might be too big for me or not suited for my riding/conditions?
Thanks! KB |

LOL, I completely forgot there are kids on here but yes fully grown at 27, just a short dude. I am currently riding a 151 but it's mostly a park board. I didn't know anything about boards when I bought so I hope to be a bit smarter this time.

My brother is 6'1"/150# and for everyday/all-mountain use he switches between his 2009 Lib-Tech Dark Series MTX 158 and his 2009 LT TRS BTX 159 (he almost bought this board in a 157, but ended up going with the 159 and has no regrets). He also has a 2010 Burton Malolo 162 for deep/fresh powder. I'm 5'9"/185# and my all-mountain/everyday board is a 2009 LT DS MTX 161. I've also got a couple of shorter, more park-focused boards, a 2009 K2 Jibpan 156 and a 2010 K2 Jibpan 159, as well as some longer boards that range from 165 to 168 that I break out when the powder's deep/fresh.
