Question about possible water stained board

I just bought a new NS SL TODAY!!!!! As I was taking my Rome Targas off my old board I noticed there seemed to be a stain that matched the rubber bottom of the binding this some sort of board defect? Can I remove this? More worried that this will happen the new board as well.

My boards tend to have the outline of the binding when I remove them. Its happened on three different boards. The way I see it, it'll just get covered up again, plus the top sheet doesn't affect performance.

To put it shortly...

Perfectly normal. Not worth the effort to buff it out. It will do nothing negative to your board. If you truly don't want this to happen for whatever odd reason, you need to immediately take your bindings off after each use and wipe everything down. Again, not worth the effort, but whatever floats your boat.

Well at least now you will know if someone tries to pull a fast one on you with something like, "Give it to me cheaper because you have some topsheet damage".
