Exclamation Quick Question!

Hey everyone. I just found a good sale on Never Summer boards at a local shop and I've been planning on getting an infinity so I think I'm going to go for it. I was going for a 147, but they don't have that available. I'm 5'5'' and I just went to the doctor yesterday (was sick) so I can say with certainty that I am 128 (and when I say with certainty, that means I'm not doing the girl thing and taking off ten pounds), I have size 7 feet in women's. I'm an intermediate rider but I'm looking towards going more into the park where I'm still a beginner, so I want to be able to goof off and jib and stuff with it, though I'd still like to be able to go fast on bigger runs from time to time. My present board is a 146, which I got when I was a tid bit smaller, but I still feel comfortable on it. So, after all that ramble, should I go for the 145 or the 149? THANKS!

I think you would feel comfortable on the 149 as a all-mountain/free-ride board.

Have you considered using your old 142 in the park?

I think the 149 will give you better versatility and you can trash your 146 in the park. You probably don't want another shorter board. What kind of board is your present board and are you able to do jibs and butters with it now? Are you able to whip that 146 around?

Eh, my present board is a rossingol and it was a relatively cheap starter board from when I was a beginner, a couple years ago. I definitely can't butter with it, I've tried and I get it a couple inches off the ground and it snaps back down. Jumps aren't exactly the smoothest with it either, it feels like a dead weight, I've tried some friend's boards and it's a lot easier on theirs, I feel like I've got more control over it. I was actually thinking of just retiring it on ebay or craigslist for some cash once I got my new board.
