Bindings wont fit...

hey i got burton freestyle bindings size Large i believe from 06' and i have a 158 burton Blunt snowboard 08'.. my question is when i try to get my bindings on cerntered stance.. on the 4 holes which make a square the holes on my binding inserts wont line up.. so i had to slide my bindings to a wider stance.. and only 3 screws will line up.... question is..
is it the binding plate which is giving me the problem, or it should not fit into that centered stance.?
second is it ok to have only 3 screws attaching bindings to my board..
thanks for your time

If you look at a burton board it has triangle hole patterns vs. other boards that have square patterns. the base plate should have 3 hole patterns on it. So yes it should mount on the center 3 holes just fine..

Sounds like your using the wrong base plate. Your using the universal 4 hole one instead of the 3 hole Burton one. The bindings should have came with both styles.
