Binding: k2 auto users

i like the idea (considering i came up with it 3 years ago, seriously, oh well) but was wondering about the fit. they say it remembers how you like your toe strap. i like to ride with my to strap over the front and really tight, but i like my ankle straps snug to loose. does the auto really remember your toe tightness and duplicate it every time, or is the binding really just a floating pulley system.

I've been on the Auto bindings for a few weeks now. I ride with the toe strap over the top of my toes (sounds like you cap them over the front?) and have had no problems. Don't think you'll have any problems either.

The wire has not loosened and they are easy to adjust if you want to make small changes or tighten them up a bit.

Overall, I have no problems with the auto system - just hoping it holds up over time.

I've been riding the auto's for 3 weeks (only 3 times to mountain so far) and have yet to have to re-adjust the toe strap, seems to always tighten back up to my initial setup with no problems.
Only minor grievance I have is that it doesn't loosen up a lot when unstrapped, so when I'm stepping back in to my bindings I usually end up standing on toe strap unless I do it from seated position. Might just be a matter of getting used to them.
Other than that they've worked great as far as I can tell...
My friends flows are still quicker in and out but not by much.
