For any of you that haven't heard Halldor and Eiki Helgason are starting their own snowboard company called Lobster Snowboards. They're going to come out sometime in Fall 2011.
Heres a link for more info: broblog » The Helgasons Brothers launch LOBSTER Snowboards I personally think this is sweet and I would deff buy one. They're incorporating trible base technology like the Bataleon boards. (My thoughts are Lobster boards might be made by Bataleon) If you dont know who Halldor or Eiki are. check these links! Halldor: YouTube - Pirate Movie Production Hooked - Halldor Helgason Eiki: YouTube - Eiki Helgason - No Correct Way What are everyones thoughts on this????? |

I would love to start a snowboard manufacturing co. It's a nice fantasy. But you have to be in a position to not make any money for a long while (if ever). You have to know the industry well enough to pick a good niche. You have to know snowboards well enough to be able to 'feel' what works and what doesn't (everyone thinks they do, most are wrong. Just like everyone thinks they're above average). You have to have artistic talent available as well (unless you're starting Blank snowboards).
But if you did get it together, imagine your job is to take new snowboards to the mountain and test them. And get paid for it!

Yeah I mean it would be a hard thing to start off from. From what I hear is theyre doing triple base technology like Bataleon so its worth to give it a try. I think I might buy one and post a review of it once they come out.
Both Halldor and Eiki are amazing snowboarders so they know what their doing hopefully. Just wonder where and how is going to make them |

For sure. The Helgasons are sick. I talked to Eiki over Fb and he said at first there might be no wide boards but once they start going they'll make them.
With an 11 boot im gona try to fit in a 25. maybe a little wider |

10 bucks Bataleon decks 100% Helgasons shitty graphics. 2013 Prediction Eiki and Halldor riding for some big brand again.

Hopefully the graphics are going to be good. One of the reasons I was planning on getting a board cause I was thinking the graphics would be sick. We'll see I guess.
Halldors riding the promo one at X-Gamesbut I don't think the graphics are on that yet. |

i got size 12 burton ambush's and i ride a 155 love with a 250mm waist width, absolutely no problem with toe drag. and i ridea 158 customX with 249mm waist width and as long as you center the binding on a 249mm waist width, you shouldn't have a problem.
