Never Summer choices

Im looking to buy a NS board today or tomorrow, I have my mind set on a Heritage or Premier. SL or legacy isnt out of question. Size will probably be 161 or 162 but Im not quite sure which is better for me at moment. Im 6ft 2 205lbs and really just like to bomb downhill, trees a few jumps but mostly freeride no rails or boxes. Can anyone give me some feedback if they have ridden these boards? Im throwing some 2011 targas on them too. Thanks

Currently I ride a 2010 GNU Billygoat c2btx 162 and a 09 lib lando

If I was going to get a freeride board that can do natural hits out of the NS lineup it would be the 163 Premier. If I was looking for a stiff all mountain deck that can handle speed, switch, and a lap through the park jumps I'd get the Heritage. It depends on what you do more of, but it sounds to me like the Premier is more fitting. I'm about your sized and I'd probably go with the 163 or 165.

Thats what most people tell me but the longest board Ive owned is a 162.. I do like how light the heritage is, the premier is sick tho. I couldnt find any used boards so im biting the bullet and buying a new one I just want to make sure I get the right board. This would be my first NS Ive only owned Libs and GNU

stick with what board size your comfortable on. everyone is different..... I like shorter boards. 159W to 166W is my range. Im 6' 290

true. I wear a 11.5 boot but i prefer a non wide board.

Never Summer Snowboards 2010

Just a heads up, save $50 a board.

snowjab 01-27-2011 12:10 PM

Im on that already.. going to my local shop so they can beat that price

little devil 01-27-2011 12:16 PM

Nice, price match!

I was contemplating used vs new but if I get a board for 425.00 then its a no brainer. price match then beat their price by 5% and since daddies is in oregon no sales tax. perfect timing.

Yep bought it 429.00 they beat daddies sale price.. I pick it up tomrow because they didnt have my size at store it has to be shipped from warehouse.
