Bataleon TBT, Omatic BS Tech...others? - Snowboarding Forum

I have been hearing a lot about Bataleons TBT lately. I came across Omatic's BS Tech which is basically the same thing only with a rocker instead of a camber.

Are there other companies doing this sort of base? or are these the only two?

Bataleon has TBT patented.
Omatic has failed miserably.
I believe Bataleon is allowing Lobster boards to use TBT next year, there a new company.

If Bataleon has has a patent on it how did Omatic get around it?

Lobster boards aye? I wonder how they will put a spin on it

TBT is patented. and BS is totally different that is how they got around it. LobStER isnt putting a spin on it as far as I know they probably paid Bataleon to use TBT. Just like Smokin probably paid Mervin to use Magnitraction.

Omatic's BS tech is the opposite of TBT.
It has raised edges in the middle with the tip and tail flat while TBT has raised edges on the tip and tail and a flat base in teh middle.

Okay I knew they both had raised edges but wasnt sure the difference. Do you know of other companies doing this raised edges?

The BS Tech is not like a full TBT board? I thought it had all the edges beveled..

Anyway, if anyone have experience with both of them I'm really interested too! Looking for an Evil Twin, NS Evo or an Omatic with BS (Celebrity or Extr).
