rocker/camber hybrid question

I know the basics of what the technology is, but in doing some research i found that there are variations of this hybrid tech. For instance, i know lib tech/gnu and burton have rocker between the feet with, then camber, and rocker again. Rossignal has mini camber between the feet and Ride has a flat spot between the feet. How do these variations effect the characteristics of the board? I know some of it has to do with a riders' style as to how they would interpret these variations when riding. Hope I'm being clear. What are the pros and cons of each of these different rocker/camber variations?
