the top layer of my snowboard is cracked horizontally by the nose; starting from the edge to the middle of the board. i had it treated with epoxy glue at a snowboard shop for 25 bucks after i noticed it, but the next time i went boarding, i was doing nollies and butters, and it started rising up again.
it looks like if i do any more damage it'll start going into the middle layers. is there a way to fix this permanently? (maybe by putting something solid over it) because i dont wanna have to pay to get it fixed every single time i go boarding. the board is an option redline, its 3 years old and i probably used it 15-20 times |

Seems like epoxy would be the way to fix it, and maybe you should have held off with the butters and nollies. If you want to keep riding like that it's time for a new board.
If you get it fixed again maybe it will hold up if you only do ollies and tail presses. |

do you think it would be bad if i just left it and kept boarding? i mean i dont really care about the crack as long as it interferes with my riding
i was thinking maybe duct taping it shut to keep any water out would prevent most of the damage |

that looks pretty bad, mine doesnt go all the way through the bottom, it looks like its only a couple of top layers.
im going boarding tomorrow too, so i taped a litte piece of plastic cut out from a binder. i figured as long as the crack doesnt rise or get wet, it wont get worse. |
