What Board - Snowboarding Forum

ive been snowboarding a few times and want to get into some park stuff, i have been using my friends board and now am looking to get my own, im looking for one between 100-230$ which i know is kinda cheap but if you could, help me out

6 feet
140lbs
size 11 or 12 boot
want a board good for some park

Ok, the truth is your not going to find a good deck for that price, unless you can nail some close-out, end of the season sale, or a used deck. The cheapest new board that I know of that comes close to what you are looking for is the K2 Anagram. MSRP is $289.00.

he is right for when it comes to in the board shops. dogfunk.com and a local shop by me actionvillage.com always has good deals on boards from last year. unless you want to date boards. do you want a whole package or just the board. a good park board to begin on i think is the forum youngblood. id prolly go with a 152 to a 154 with your bodyweight.

Oh, if you don't know this already, do a Google shopping search on what ever deck your looking for. Then sort the results, via price, from "low to high." From that, you can find some good deals from lesser know web sites. I just scored a 2008 Rome Graft for $290 that way. MSRP is $420. That is a DEAL! And of corse, check eBay and your local Craigslist.

I would try to score a board/binding package off the net, where it may be cheaper (not sure where you're located, but an example: a Youngblood in canada retails for roughly 600, I got mine as a starting deck for 300, whereas US prices on the net, it retails for WAAAY less than 600

).
The Boots you definitely want to buy in person.
