Cartel Bindings & Moto boot

well, after some extensive reading online, i realized that the general consensus was that the cartel bindings should be opted for in large for a boot size greater than ~8.5? are these bindings smaller than normal? If i got the burton motos in size 8.5 or 9, what size binding should i get (cartel)?

I would say it all depends on your future boot size.
If your still growing, you want to get a size up or .5 at least.
My brother wears 15's (idk if they make boot that big but thats his shoe size) and i wear 10s. I'm 17 and not trying to get caught with small boots on a foot that grew overnight. I recently bought large cartels with my 11 boots, and theyre great. I wear 10.5 shoes and that leaves room to grow. But you are right that generally anything larger than 9 boots should merit a large binding.

I have room to spare for my size 12 boots in my large customs. 8.5 or 9 would probably be swimming in a large cartel. I'd try out a medium.

All Burton Bindings use the same size charts regardless of the model.

They are..

Small: 3-8
Medium: 8-10
Large: 10+

At 8.5 you would fall under the Medium size binding range and should have room to grow.

Cartel binding boot fit

I am planning 2 buy the 08 cartel lo-back bindings. I am not sure what size bindings 2 get though. I have size 10 burton freestyle boots. I don't think my feet will be growing anymore, so that can be taken out of the picture. Please give me advice on whether medium or large bindings would be a better fit, Thanks.
