best flex rating for hitting jumps??

so obviously im a bit of a noob, snowboarded 6 times but with a solid background in wakeboarding, im already bombing hills, and now hitting bigger jumps and dialing in my 180s and about to start working on 360s...i have a 2011 kink 156w which i believe holds a flex rating of 4..i really like this board and the way it handles and everything, but ive been wondering, am i losing height/distance on my jumps by riding this flexy board...not sure what my riding style is, i mainly just cruise looking for something to jump, and when i lap the park, im more interested in the jumps then the rails/boxes...
so my question...in yalls opinion, would i enjoy something a little stiffer? like a 5 or 6 flex rating? again, love the ride of my board and have zero complaints (other than speed), but just wanna make sure im not hindering myself when it comes to jumps....

when you say bigger jumps how does that translate into feet or meters?

Well, not for sure, but don't they generally measure snowboard
jumps by distance from take off to knuckle? Assuming they do, id say jumps I'm hittin are like 10-20 footers, some kickers in the park big enough to get 5-6 feet of are, and anything else I see to get about that much air or more

your current board is very good for what you're doing. you can do 540s and i've seen 720s off of decent 20 foot kickers so there's no need to go on bigger jumps until you get your 5s dialled in. in short, there's PLENTY of room for you to progress on your current board.

I'd disagree...the kink is the softest boards I've ever ridden. You want a poppy stable board for getting bigger on jumps and the kink is far from that. But you don't want to get into freeride stiffness. I'd suggest checking out the Ride DH boards if you want a park board that will handle jumps.
