HELP!

i wear a size 8 boot and am interested in the burton escapade's from 06/07 and was wondering if i would be able to fit the size large bindings? on the burton website it says size large escapade bindings fits size 8+, so it just fits me, right?

i'm riding size large bindings with my size 8 boots right now [ride dva's] and have been TOLD that it's too big for me, but it feels just fine when i'm riding it. so should i believe what i've been told, or what i feel?

i'm asking this because i really like the burton escapade's from 06/07 a lot more than this year's [mostly bc of the color so it matches my board], and i found a wicked deal on a pair that are size large! that and the only ones i can find from 06/07 are in size large, sadly.

so what should i do? buy or don't buy bc it won't fit?
