Bataleon Evil Twin 2011 vs. Bataleon Airobic 2011 vs. Ride Kink 2011
Hey guys, I'm ready to upgrade boards. I'll be keeping my Burton Custom bindings, though. So I'm pretty much deciding between the 2011 Bataleon Evil Twin, 2011 Bataleon Airobic, and the 2011 Ride Kink. I'm definitely open to suggestions, so if you feel there is a better board for my needs, then please do. My budget, well, I would like to stay under $400.
I am 5'4" and weigh 110 pounds. I looooove park, and I ride mostly park. I do a lot of jibbing but I also do tons of jumping. I like to butter, so keep that in mind. I don't especially love powder but on days where there is powder I love riding it, as it's really fun, but I'm not a die hard shred tons of powder guy. I just want something that could do it just fine. Normal riding is fine, I like going fast but I can sacrifice that for better park. Right now I'm really leaning towards the Evil Twin. Thanks in advance, Tanner |
Yup. ET. Though I would also look at a Funkink. Kind of a middle ground. Softer in the tips than both for great jibbing but stiffer in between the bindings than both for jumpability.

Definitely deciding between the ET and the FK. Those two seem best. Any suggestion which would be better? Which is better for park, which is better for powder, etc? Thanks
|
The ET will have better pop and better on jumps with the stiffer tips. The FK will be better on jibs and "surfier" in the powder.

I'd go with the ET, it's more of a do it all board while still being park-focused :D
|
Alright, thanks guys! Seems like the ET would forsure be the best choice.

the evil twin is more geared to park riding
however if you only venture in there sometimes and you want similar stiffness to the ET, you will like the new WHATEVER board the names says it all ride whatever you want !!!!!!!!!!! it is a freestyle board like the fun kink but stiffer |
ET for sure!
