My friend has a 164 Yukon that has light use. I'm 6'1" 225 and a newbie. I read here that its pretty stiff and that it handle groomed and ice well. You think this would be a good board for me? Mostly North East mountains and I can get it pretty cheap.
Thanks! |

It'll work just fine. A little stiff for a beginner, but it'll serve you well as you progress. I'd rather sacrifice a little bit on the ease of initial learning to get a board that will better suit you as you improve. How old is it?

It's an all-mountain board, so if you plan on messing around in the park it probably isn't the best choice. But on the whole I agree with linville. Great board that can handle just about anything. I have an 08/09 164.
