Ok so some of you may know i cant decide from the custom X and the custom. But the more i think about it the custom x maybe more board then i need. So i was thinking of just going down to the custom. Now i was wondering if the Custom is just as fast as the X. My solomon prospect now is pretty fast. I want a board where i have to slow down when im going too fast. I DO NOT want a board where i feel like im going 10mph and im just kinda chillin and there is no excitement too it. Now my cousin has an older custom and he says it depends on how you wax it. I wanted your guys opinions though. So if i do a nice fast wax, it will go fast?
thanks |

My housemate has a Custom. It just sits on the wall in the hallway. I wouldn't call that fast at all. Kind of slug-like, actually. My housemate, he however, is a fast rider.
Boards arn't fast. Riders are.
