Hey all, just a quick question about some new gear. i currently ride a 169 2010 skunk ape with K2 bindings(which i hate). Im 6'11, 275lbs size 13 boots(15 in a regular shoe, 13 in boot go figure). anyways im thinking of buying the 2011 T Rice 164.5 and wanted to know if anyone else with 13's rides that board.
Also i have been looking at the cartels or forces and wanted to know if anyone can tell me what the main difference between the 2 and which may be a better binding, i have hear mixed reports about both and hoped someone has experienceed either of them. i ride mostly in Aus and NZ but will be doing a bit in Jap, USA, and Canada in the next year, mostly freeride but looking to get into park when im a little more confident. any help would be appreciated, ohh and yeah i know im huge |

With your more aggressive stature the Forces are gonna feel like a jib binding. Cartels to you will feel like Missions for most of us. Forces for you will feel like Flites for us.
I would look at Ride Alphas, SPi's, Rome Targas, Nitro Phantoms, or Flow NXT-FSE's.

thanks for the reply, ill look into to them now, i figured i needed something stiffer than a guy 180lbs, but really wasnt sure where to start. the burtons and unions were suggested by some retail guys here but i guess they need to make sales quotas so it might not matter much to them after they have made a sale.

i did have a little look at the co2 and c60's, but thought they might be too stiff, im thinking maybe not now. Also is there any difference in stiffness between the force and force sl's, ive searched online but couldnt really find an answer

Ohh and if anyone can tell me the difference between me buying a 2011 t rice hp c2btx 161.5 and 164.5 besides the obvious. I really wanna go with the t rice and after looking at the specs the 164.5 has a bigger effective edge than my 169 skunk ape and the waist is only 4mm narrower. the 161.5 has roughly the same effective edge and about 1cm narrower in the middle. my question is if i wannt something that i can throw around a bit more and try and learn the park is the 161.5 too short?
