Dumb question for new board - Snowboarding Forum

Getting ready to take out my new Heritage board for the first time, won't have time to get it waxed so I'm gonna get it done after a day or two on the mountain. But I noticed glue residue on the base from the warranty envelope, should I try to get that off? And they put a sticker on the base right up by the tip, should I peel it off ? Any expert tips on getting a brand new board ready to go?

peel the sticker off, wipe off the glue and detune the tips. You are ready to go.

dont detune unless you absolutely need to..

Don't worry about the glue. It'll come off on your first run. Enjoy the new ride!
