Default Cartels/Missions/Custom for beginner???

which binding would be the best for me? I've been up twice to the wnow and just ordered a burton royale154. I mostly ride all mountain with some small jumps.

-cartels
-missions
-customs

which of those 3 2008 burton bindings would be the best fit for me? I ask because i've heard a lot of negative reviews (no consistency) in terms of quality/robustness

-thanks much, jl

it wouldnt matter. depends on what you like more. the negative reviews are from riders who put their gear through some brutal wear and tear and now how they want their bindings to perform. as a beginner any would be fine.

if you get the burtons just keep an eye on the screws that hold on the straps and whatnot, they tend to come loose.

I'd say get any of them - they're starting to go on sale, and the 07's are pretty cheap. I mgot 07 missions for 85...and I'm a beginner

how much will the team skyback 2 on the 2008 cartels help me learn/control the board?(i'm just used to jumping into any sport)

so are you guys saying i wouldn't notice any difference between the 3? (i want the most responsive binding if that helps)

well if u want the most responsive, u want the siffest binding. i believe the cartels are the stiffest of those 3, im not sure though. if u go to the burton site, they will have a response rating on the bindings
