I had that A -Frame in my sight for a while, and I knew it weould go down like that in summer. I get it for $305..Good deal, I'm happy. I get out in the blazing sun, and see the mark of bindings on the topsheet...WTF? Look under and see 2 light long scratches on the base...start looking on the edge and see two small nicks..one semi-warped the top sheet.

I go back inside and tell the salerep that probably the shop guys used the board at the end of the season and then put it back as new, and that they should be crucifixed for that...well I thought that, I just said "This board has been obiouvsly used, I would like 70% off over a used board price"
The sales rep thought a second and said " how's $198 sounds? "
"sounds awesome ma'am"

That's how I got a $600 board for $ 198, plus some scratches
Good deal, their Memorial weekend sale is a must go to!! 50% off Fri and Sat, 60% Sunday and 70% off Monday. I got my chick a Roxy Board, Ride Bindings, Ride Jacket and Ride SPi Bindings for myslelf...$296.
Monday morning they still had an Altered Genetics, and a Riders choice for 70% off.

I thought I got a killer deal paying $390 OTD for my NS Evo in the beginning of the season.
Yea i went to daddiesboardshop.com which is based in portland (no sales tax) and they had it for 450.00 so then took that to EVO in seattle and they match and beat daddies out the door price by 5%, i had to get the black one because daddies didnt have a white one to price match it.

There is a NS SL in my size for 400 bucks on ebay. I'm resisting the urge big time. I'm hoping I find a gem in the middle of summer somewhere for $300 or less.

I'm slim and streamlined, i.e. shorter and skinny, so I need a 151 lol

Is that all the h.p. is? A more eco friendly board? F that noise.

Is the board you want the 550 or 700? Either way i'd prob wait. But keep an eye out before they get sold out.
The HP version uses basalt fiber instead of fiberglass. Basalt fiber is stronger but is more expensive.

I was going to wait, but found a site that had the board I wanted at 20% off. I think that was a good deal since it is more of a budget board, and probably wont get too much below that. I could be wrong, but I got it out of my system now and wont be pondering a board purchase for the next several months. Another thing as once summer hits all my attention goes to cars and racing, so I may completely forget about snowboarding at that point... evo.com has some good sales going on some good brands through tomorrow.
