I'm hoping this is actually possible...
I want a second board that will work for my girlfriend as a board to learn on and a board that I can learn ground tricks with. Her: 5'2", 125 lbs, second time riding Me: 5'9", 145 lbs, Intermediate rider I'm really interested in a board flexible enough for me to learn to butter on. I'm hoping to get something light, pretty short and forgiving. I assume those traits would work well for both of our tasks. Some boards I've been looking at were K2 WWW and Anagram around a 147-149. Thanks. |

Bataleon Airobic 151 or 147. I haven't ridden a board with reverse camber yet, so I don't know how that compares, but TBT makes buttering a joke. It's like training wheels. On my ET I can do 360 and nose presses so easily. You don't even need to raise the edges because they are already raised, so you can just butter flat based. TBT is super easy to learn on, too. I went from being awful at riding switch to tearing up (east coast) black diamonds in less than 1 season.

This is awesome! Thanks for the great suggestions, glad I'm at least on the right path and hopefully I'll get to demo a few choices.
I think I'm leaning more toward it ultimately being her board since that will incite her to go more often and become a "snowboarder". |

I ended up going with the Omatic celebrity in 148. It was ridiculously well priced and have only found great reviews on it. I know that BS tech and three stage rocker are going to be amazing for the both of us. It arrives today and I'll try to update with my experience after this weekend in Tahoe and again after she gives it a go.
