NS Legacy vs Arbor Roundhouse?
Which should i buy?
That question has no context to it and doesn't make any sesne. The Legacy is a directional twin and the roundhouse is a directional board.
all i can say is both companies make quality boards. you may want to define what kind of riding you will be doing before you ask for help on choosing a board. my Arbor Roundhouse floats on pow and cleaves ice, its positive camber. it was a little stiffer than i expected, and is on the heavier side, i dont really think it would be ideal for any sort of park riding although its deemed "all mountain". Ive never ridden a NS Legacy im pretty sure its NS rocker camber tech, but i do own the NS Revolver which is considerably flexier than the roundhouse and rips for a wide board and it very responsive with great torsional flex. It can handle anything you throw at it from park to pow to ice. Its my go-to board when in doubt
Husband has owned both.
He says the Arbor is a stiffer, wide board. It is regular camber and great for carving and cruising the mountain. Decent powder board.
The Legacy is a bit softer, and a mid-wide, camber-rocker combination. Great board for all-mountain. Does well in the park, on pow, and on groomers.
Both companies make great boards. Hubby prefers the Legacy, as he finds it more playful.
