So Im in the market to get a small board just for park....something I can toss around easily. I have an chance to pick up a used K2 Parkstar for cheap only downside is its a 154w. Im 6'2" 195lbs and currently have a Ride Machete 161w which is amazing around the mountain but doesnt jib well at that size and is actually a lot stiffer than I had expected not to mention a bit on the heavy side. I would love to be able to mess around with a small board Im just not sure what other factors come in to play. K2 has this size weight range at 140-230lbs......I would like to hear some opinions. BTW my boot size is 12, 24" stance width, 15 & -15.

Well, I'm 6-1 185 and ride a 156 custom and a 159 ride dh. I took the 156 out a few days ago after riding the dh for most of the season and was shocked at how much lighter and more maneuverable the smaller board was. While I wouldn't hit big jumps with the smaller board I do prefer it for boxes and rails. Since the board in question is Wide I would think you'd be fine with it as long as you stick to the park. If you set it up with a 24" stance you'll really throw it around, but that won't leave you with much tip or tail either.

I'm 6' and 195 lbs, I ride a 157w Parkstar. You'll be fine on the 154w in the park and you might be surprised how well it rides outside the park.

You'll be fine on a 154w, especially if it's just for park.
