Hi there!

I have to decide for a new board and I hope you can help me to figure out which one to purchase.
My Riding style changed during this season because of an injury. So now I look for a board which handles groundtrick with ease. I think of rockershape and a little bit softer for butters but also good enough to handle ollies and nollies.
I used to ride my my Nitro T1 153 + Rome 390 (both 08/09) for park.

Now I need a new one to have fun on slopes with ollies and butters. Should also handle some jibs in the park. The Rome Garage Rocker 152 already cought my attention. Cheap = nice! And also did the Forum Youndblood chillydog and contract 152.

So do you have any experiences with these boards?
Or/And can you give me any futher suggestions?

Thanks in advance,
Greetings from Munich!:)

Honestly I ate poo too many times trying to butter a Park rocker. The Park is plenty soft, that over the Rocker. Or wait for the 2012 Rocker Lite.

Just get a decent reverse camber softer board. They all butter. Don't buy a "butter" board.

Get something like a Kink, Bataleon ET (tbt is super butterific), Forum Destroyer Chili, Arbor Westmark, or a Nitro Swindle.

Also, Destroyer chilis are softer than Youngblood chilis.

Thanks for all your replies.
Seems like there are too many boards out there which are good enough for my preferences.
So probably i will go for the cheapest one.

@Mysticfalcon:

This isn't a normal Tailpress, is it? What are you doing there?
If thats a tailpress then that board is a mad noodle!
No offense, but was taht picture taken just before a bail? :p

I'm actually looking for a noodle to add! Aiming for the Nitro Haze 157 Wide for cheaps. Possibly the softest noodle board I've ever seen. Want it s for just that... ground tricks. But sub zero might actually be better option (+1 stiffer)! Must see if it comes in wide...

Cheers...

Haha, okay i like that picture!

I've just ordered a rome Garage Rocker 152 for just 200€ which is a unbeatable bargain.
No bad things about this board were mentioned here and for others board mentioned here were at minimum half of that money to add. That's why i went for it!
Thanks for all your replies :)

I could not find teh Haze in 157, but found in 154 wide (11.5 feet). But shop keeps steering me away from it as too soft and has no pop! Boards on the ground trick videos (japan mostly) look super ultra soft. I know they use 011 Artist brand for the most part.

I don't have experience with rockers! But other than the Nitro Haze, what would be the closest in softness with "some" pop. Or someone could recommend something for just this. I have other boards for everything else. Boards suggested or come to mind:

1. Nitro Haze wide (softest there is)
2. Capita Horrorscope (flat kick RC)
3. Rome Artifact rocker
4. Nitro Prime wide (suggested to me)
5. Garage rocker
6. Ride agenda

Cheers...

i have the horrorscope and it is definitely a soft board, but i've never had problems hitting jumps or popping onto rails and stuff.
i just started riding park and the biggest jump i've hit was 40 ft but it seemed to handle it fine. for reference this is a 151 and a weigh 140.
