Do i need to fill out that card to validate the warranty?

Thats what it says doesnt it? Mine said something like you need to fill it out and sent in within 90 days of purchase...

You can also email them, which I had to do cause I lost the card. They had me email in the serial number, shop I got it at, and name for their records. They said most of all to keep your receipt as that was the key for any warranty work.

Fill it out for the easiest route if you ever have to use the warranty...

But yeah, if you keep the receipt, that's the important part. Have to prove you bought it of course. :p
